    That technique looks amazing Harold. I've looked at the how-to on your site and plan to use it on some of my stuff, but was wondering about the look of brown wood in less exposed areas fading into the gray/bleached wood. You nailed it. Is the brown area done with paint, or a stain / dye of some sort?

    It is raw and burnt sienna drafting ink. I am working on a how to on the method. It took a while to figure out how to blend the old and new wood areas.
