Structures I have scratchbuilt

    I was looking at some photos of structures I had made over the years, and thought you might like to see some of them. These are not all, but all are HO scale.

    And I thought Robn had done a lot of structures !!!!!.
    Those of us that do not have much imagination sure get much food for thought

    Scratchbuilt!? I have trouble finishing the ones that come in kits have as good as these.

    Those are great looking buildings, Paul. :thumb: I see they're all made of wood. I now see why you're working those loggers so hard. :)

    First of all congratulations for your amazing work, now a few questions:

    Do you base your work in other kits or in real life models?
    What is your your material of choice to do this scratchbuildings?
    Do you plan ahead or just start building and let it flow?

    I do remember when you were posting most of these marvelous creations as you built them Paul. It was you who inspired me to start scratchbuilding, so I owe you a BIG thankyou.

    Thanks a lot friends, first of all I will say this, all are scratchbuilt, not a single kit among them. I get a lot of information needed from looking at photographs, from this I prepare drawings on the computer (Fullsize) transfer the printouts to cardstock, cut out the card and stripwood it. He he, its a lot of fun.
