Stop the annoying popup adds.

Today when I was browsing Toms new web page (this thread http://www.the-gauge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4008 ), I got so irritated on the popups so I decided to do a search for some tool that will prevent them. I found this freeware tool and it works perfect for me ( http://www.panicware.com/popupstoppercompare.html ).
Just wanted to let everybody know that there are programs out there that will stop the popups, and I’m glad I found this one. Just wished I had found it sooner.

another option is dump internet destroyer and use opera instead
no popups built in-and its faster to load pages as well!!

Yes, Opera is a fine web browser. I have been using it for about six months. Interestingly enough, I was put on to it by two different email buddies in two different parts of the country at about the same time. It is downloadable, and I think you can try it for free, although I don't really remember for sure.
