Hi Pete, thanks for that. She was going great until I realised that I hadn't cut the holes for the torpedo tubeswall1 still this is only a work out how it goes build so no real worries. Should be a good looking kit when finished and a good size too getting some inspiration from the repeats on SciFi channel:mrgreen: having to work in the wee small hours of the morning doesn't help though. Cheers Phil.

The problem I had was I thought they fitted flush on the bulkhead instead of passing through itwall1 oh well thats why I decided to build this one as a test to work out how she goes together. Good luck with your build given the many years of enjoyment that Gerry Anderson and his many creations have given me and I'm sure many others I think she is worth the effort!.
Now if only there was a Terror Fish to go with her.:thumb:
All the best Gix:mrgreen:

Hi Phil and you other guys building this beauty for our delight. I had a look round and couldn't find a paper model of the Terror Fish but some resin ones to purchase which would defeat the object so i haven't linked to them. The model sounds devine and all your teasing without the pics :curse: will make the wait well worth while chaps :mrgreen: - No rush i just want things yesterday sign1 So to wet your appetite and maybe urge someone to develope a paper model, here are two pics for you to drool over {even a cut-away} :thumb: Keep up the good work my mate. Your friend Pete. {do you like my new avatar ? }

Yeah Thanks Gary! I remember watching this stuff on Saturday mornings....... Always like everything he did........ Thunderbirds to UFO:thumb:

Wish they would bring it back.

John, we are lucky on this side of the pond, we still get to watch UFO and Space 1999 on cable/sat channels.
Phil where are the picturessign1 I've got Stingray printed and waiting for a lesson:wave:

all the best

Mick

Nag nag nag sign1 I shall try and sort something out. As our talkative Mate Pete knows I was trying to do a rough build first to identify the problems likely to be had, (tip of nose to end of ratemaster seems to be the main areas I had trouble with :twisted:) My rough build has turned out some what rougher than intended due to some super glue that was neither super nor glueywall1I am now tentatively starting the (fingers crossed) proper build so I will try to sort out a camera and post some pictures.
This time I have cut out the holes for the torpedo tubes :thumb:
Thanks for the late Birthday wishes, wasn't to bad and my personal air force has increased thanks to my Wife and the good fellows of Corgi so that was a result.:mrgreen:
All the best Phil

On the UK Anderson front as well as UFO and Space 1999 being shown we have Stingray,Thunderbirds and Joe 90 on the UK Scifi Channel all with there own great and unique vehicles no Captain Scarlet at the moment but It does get shown at times and they are a nice treat for us 40ish youngsters:killer:

Well......... since we copy most of y'alls TV shows......... maybe these TV Guys over here will get their heads out of the sand and start showing those again.......... I can always hope.

(Since they don't have any imagination I'm sure they are in a big conference room trying to figure out how to get these back on the air over here. So I shouldn't have too long to wait)

FAB!

I know DR Who and Torchwood are very popular in the US at the moment so that might inspire the powers that be to give some of the Anderson stuff ago after all they were made with the American market in mind hence the Tracy's American accents and Stingray being in colour or rather color, a big expensive risk for British television at the time as only about 4 people had a colour set at the time. a worthwhile gamble as 45 years later it still has a large following
