Hi together,
Star Wars or BSG? It is Star Wars again. I like Star Wars, but I am really waiting hard for new BSG models, which are all in preparation.
So to fill the time I have to seek for interesting models of SW or other cool SF-themes.

I found the R2A4 model I´d like to present.
It is not life-size, but it is the biggest model beside the life-size model and therefore it should be easy to build.
As can be seen the main body has a hight of app. 17cm.

Good start, starbuck! :)

This model looks good but for this size it is simplified way too much and many details are missing. Do you intend to change that?

You´re right - it looks like many details missing.
I hope I won´t have time to change that, as I hope that the next BSG model(s) will be available soon.

But serious: I don´t think that I will change that - this build is fun, as it seems to be easy to build.
It will be a present for a 5 year boy - and he will be happy as it is.

I am just a builder and I take the models as they are. Therefore I am always very happy if I get a
model, which is very detailed. (Like yours.)

I am sure he will be happy - he is a great (although he is small ;)) Star Wars fan.

So time for next pics.
So far I can say it is really an easy model - but the result is OK from my point of view.

Starbuck,
That's looking really good! Where is this model from? I don't think I've seen it before.

@ mucsanelli - oh, it is not a free paper model. It took me 4$.
Unfortunately the prices of the builder increased drastically and the droid is now available at $ 10.

There are other free models, but they where too small to be a present, therefore I was forced to buy it
I tried also to enlarge the prints, but the result was not good enough to be a present.

There is also a life-size one - I started but I had to state, that the quality is not very good.

---------------------------------------------

So final pics.......

The present was the highlight of the day.
By the way - I made a second one, which is used as a depot for my USB-stics and SD-cards.
As you can see on the second pic of the last posting there is room between the head and the body - so R2D4 is now
part of my computer room;-)

This is so very kind. I'd love to see pics of when you give it to him. This will be a momentous occasion. ;)
