Here's what my city just had to put up with for the past 10 days. Rochester stood-in for New York City, for a chase and action sequence being filmed for the latest Spider-Man movie. Stills and video clips linked. The chase shown in the second half of the first video was right in front of a former department store where my daughter attended college last semester. The closing of Main Street made her walk an additional 3 blocks to get to her shuttle bus from there to the school's suburban campus she goes to now. It was interesting, but that was also the main bus stop for the whole city. Its nice to have the normal routes back. My daughter will be glad not to be late for class any more, too.
