I new to the site so im hoping this thread hasnt been covered.. iv been looking for paper models of the si fie series space battleship Yamato.. its an older japanese series from back in the late 70's to early 80's... the series was way ahead of its time and its considered a legend in Japan to this day..

Anyways iv been looking for paper models of the series of cruisers/ships that are in the series.. so far iv found a paper model of the space Battleship Yamato but the kit isnt very well thought out... So i was wondering if anybody here has any info on the web or personal experience with any paper craft on the subject...

i was lucky and found this web sight on the series and it has schematics on all the ships from the EDF and the other 5 alien races..

I remember it as Starblazers. An early foray into Americas introduction to anime, but very memorable. I'd like to find that model as well.

The model by Wai Magazine is long out of print. I bought a copy fromo HLJ about couple years ago and I wasn't planning on building it. Then when I was vacation in Taiwan last years and found few copies at a Anime books store, it was cheaper then what I paid HLJ too. So I'm keeping that one mint and build the one I really opened. In short, that model is still around, maybe just not in the States. Try google book stores in Asia and maybe you'll get lucky.

The model actually seems to come and go at HLJ. I've seen it up for order twice in the last 2 years.

Masayu did the Andromeda, Arizona, and strike cruisers. THey are no longer available from his site, but I will post them here (if I can find them)...
