Has anyone tried the "SMAIL" from Circuitron yet? Any comments if you have?

Why I am asking - I currently have 3 Tortoise/Hare combos on a Digitrax DCS100/DT100 setup but want to 'DCC enable' 7 more switches and a few accessories. I know I can do it with the Hare but I am wondering if the integrated SMAIL would be a better deal...???

I don't think they've made it to market yet. At least every place I've seen them, they've been listed as "coming soon", and that's been like that since last year.

It looks like it gives you just basic DCC ability. Like connecting it to a Digitrax DS64.

Hare's and wabbit's have the feedback and Auto-throw options too.

I've been in a constant struggle to pick a method for controlling turnouts and tying in signals.

While an intergrated decorder would be nice, other options seem to be more widely available.

SMAIL 'vaporware' status

Thank you nolatron. I was kind of afraid of that especially after seeing that the Circuitron web page about them is "still under construction". *sigh* I was hoping for a cheaper solution than more Tortoise/Hare combos or plodding on with the old 0-5-0 :(
