recorded train sounds

    This may or may not be an original idea but it is the first time I thought of it.

    Living by the tracks and a RR crossing I could record RR sounds to a cd to listen to. I have pro quality equipment and just never thought about it.

    If you used a cam corder instead you could watch trains as you listened to the sounds.

    I have an OLD....LP record with one side filled with steam sounds, and the flip side with diesel & steam....Neat...!!

    I have a whole section of railway sounds in the record library -- I think they're all steam except for one of streetcars. I think I have an old 78 that has the Broadway Limited on one side and the General on the other. It starts with the station announcement and I've now found out where those places are!
