Alright, the secret woid is "run"....stooges8
"Picking up the slack"
"Bells and whistles"
This is no way to run a railroad!announce1
Has anyone used, "He's come off the rails"?
How about "tunnel vision".....
Give'm the 'ol runaround.
Here's one that you fine upstanding moral folks haven't come up with, "The Red Light District." Named from the conductor's red lantern hanging outside while he was "otherwise occupied " inside.
Bingo :thumb: :thumb: I told you that one word would give it away.....
What a great thread funny thing is i posted something about this about 5 seconds ago lol.
Except i was looking for modeling sayings.
"Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train."
Thats always been a favorite. So optimistic. lol
How about, to "blow off steam" or "letting off steam".
Would that be something like "size doesn't matter"?
Unless I missed it in the thread:
"End of the line" as in, "My car is at the end of the line".
What about Standard Time?
Or Time Zones which were established by the railtoads.
