Hello,
I purchased laser-cut 1/200 rails. They look fantastic. However, I am a little bit confusing on scaling of the rails.
My question is:
Do I have to use 1/200 scale rails on every 1/200 scale ships regardless of the actual size of the ship?
For example, 'USS arizona of 1/200' has the 'length of 130 cm' while the length of 'HMS onslow' is about 50 cm. Intuitively, I think the rails should have the same size in those two ships. However, if the rail size are same, I am afraid that the rails in 'USS arizona' may look too SMALL compared to that of 'HMS onslow', or the rails in 'HMS onslow' look too large compared to that of 'USS arizona'.
What's the right way to choose the scale of rails given a specific ship?
Thanks
JN
