Finally DrafModel is out with his new model!!
Got it in the mail yesterday and could not resist starting building it :)
First impression of the kit is that it holds the high standard of Rafaels design :)
The book

The hull is made of laserparts....guess im kind of lazy...

Tower, also laserparts

Hull and tower

Start to put the skin on the tower. Very nice 3d texturing that doesnt show very good on the picture

Continued the work on the small tank this week. Got a few things done, and now im going offshore for 14 days, and will continue when im back.

Got the tower nicely assebled

Weathering is very good on the model, but dont show very well on the pics.

Roadwheels....just had to try to make one :)

Top hatch

Also did the skinning and shaping of the rear hull

I laser everything if I could. Maybe even make a few models! :)

No just the frames and some other details as track links, part of the wheels and the meshes.
This is laserparts you can order together with the model and will save you a lot of repetative work.

Back from the sea, and did some small work on the cannon today.

First the drawings

The parts to be used

The cannon can be built in two ways. One that can be adjusted and the other just glued.I built the adjustable(moving) cannon

Mounted on the turret

Very cool! I always like to make parts that can move, move. Then you can change it now and then, to spice things up. :)

The drivewheel

Drawing

Parts to be used

Parts for one wheel are cutted and ready for assembly :)

One wheel done
Wheel are very well designed, so there are no tricky parts here.

And i just had to try the caterpillars on the wheel :)

Every part fits 100% :) I just love the models from Draf!!

They sure do look nice. Fits like a glove! :)

I finished the roadwheels and put them losely on the tank.
They just need some mud and dust to be finished

And started to do some caterpillarwork :)

Going offshore for 14 days now....and will do some work on the lefh there :)
See ya!

Everything looks so clean and crisp.
I like how the tracks turned out. They look GREAT!!!

I hope that your offshore trip is a safe one.
