PRR G4a

[FONT=Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif]I'm interested in building a PRR G4a 4-6-0 as two of them were sold to the Commonwealth Railways in Australia in 1942. Can anybody recommend a suitable RTR 4-6-0 which could be used for a kitbash?

Check some of Kato's Japanese models, they have a really good running 4-6-0 but it needs quite a bit of work to make it look like a american/australian prototype.

What little looking I could do resulted in a big 0 for an N scale 4-6-0, especially a Pennsy.

Google PRR G4a 4-6-0, for photos etc., the G4a had 62" drivers, and "D" slide valves.

I have the Commonwealth Railways drawings for the G4a (known as the CA class Down Under) and several photos of them in service. This still doesn't help finding a suitable basis for a model.

I had a look at the Micro Ace 4-6-0s and the driving wheels are a bit small.
