Nice tarped machinery load Chessie!
Here's three photos I took during our 3 day open house during the antique farm tractor show..
Looking at the roundhouse tracks
It looks like the crew of C&HV CL-5( the Columbus-Logan local) went dead on the law as the unit was parked in the clear on a industrial lead.
I'll take this oppurtunity to show off my motive power.
Southeastern Shortline Group (SESLG) (to be patched out) H-15-44
And a few old pics of previous layouts.
Chessie4155, did that recent article in MR about creating tarp covered loads inspire you?
I was intrigued about it myself but haven't done anything.
Packers#1, looks like you're developing a freelanced road with the light blue and yellow units. The light blue is similar to my own freelanced road.
X2, I think somebody reads MR!
Ralph, it's actually a neutral grey and clear yellow scheme. the unit is painted neutral grey, then a yellow stripe is added. BTW, forgot to say in my first post:
Great work everyone!!!!!!!
Ralph: Yup, I had to try it..I was going to use the ol matte medium /toilet paper tarp , but this looked so much easier and not near as messy! If I can do it, anyone can do it, I'm all thumbs! gotta find some different color plastic bags now!

RUN Stickman RUN!
I just love the warnings on the Centerbeam cars. All the BC Rail ones in town have NOKL reporting marks, which seems a long way to go to get cars to lease...

I came up with an idea to reuse some old fence from my last layout. What do you think?
Or should I just build a square-wire fence from scratch?
Caboose on Westbound 95;
It does look a little big, but I wonder if most of that isn't the camera angle making it look bigger than it would looking at with real eyes.
It's in the foreground so it looks bigger than it is. It's only 4 scale feet (0.5") high.
Here's a start to my...
