Did PE own any freight cars, I think they owned a fleet of single sheathed boxcars, but am not sure. Did they own anything else? Does anyone make models, or supply decals? Thanks.
Pacific Electric had an extensive fleet of freight cars--they did a lot of freight business, especially after being acquired by Southern Pacific. I think most of their freight fleet was probably SP equipment, but they also had PE-lettered boxcars. PE made extensive use of box motors for LCL freight.
Microscale makes lettering for Pacific Electric single sheathed boxcars. In HO, the set is
87-911 Southern Pacific Single Sheathed Wood 40' Boxcars. In addition to SP and PE, there is lettering for T&NO, SPdeM, EP&SW, AE, and H&WT.
