Have you calculated what radius the inner bend on the left end is? It looks pretty tight. In general, what equipment do you intend to run?

it is a 11 radius and i shoud have said it is a upper part on the left end that looks tight and we plan on running a few SD's on the lower part and a couple GP's and SW's to do switching on top and in the town:thumb:

I always worry when I see that many turnouts in that small of a space drawn by hand. I fear it will not fit as drawn. But it might. I'd try XTrkcad to get a more realistic feel for how it fits.

I still worry a little bit, tiny errors in the angles can make turnouts quite different than you expect. The small scale can let you draw things that are impossible.

XTrkCad is free, and has the advantage of letting you print out a full size drawing that you can use when laying the track. The biggest disadvantage is that it isn't the easiest thing to learn, it is not as intuitive as it might be. But doing the tutorials/demos over the course of a few hours gets you pretty competent pretty quick.

It might be fine, the angles going into the yard area just look off to me, but it's as likely to be my perception as it is the drawing.

its been a long while but we have made a lot of progress on the layout in our spare time. we did have to make a change to the rail yard as it was to small, must get picture posted now.

i know i know where are they???? i finaly got 2over veiw shots of our layout. its just been so darn hectic with havin to be at work 13 days and 1 off the last 3 1/2 months.
