this is a first impression review, of the orlik b25 mitchel
first i was quiet surprised to see how large the model actually was
its pretty big similar to some of the larger flymodel's
i did not realise that there are 2 different versions of this kit either
i was lucky and got the one i prefer
the shiney metal ink one.
the print quality is excellent and the shiney gloss pages of the aircraft frame are beautiful, i will have to use gloves when i finally make it
now as for the detail of the kit... orlik is becoming one of fthe top makers of kits in my opinion. its going to make a beautiful fully ddetailed model imho
every where from the canopies wth the detailed manchine guns to the engines are very very detailed and it looks like it will be a enjoyable challenge for the advanced model maker, i dont recommend it for the novice.
english instructions are supposed to be available on orliks website. but i dont see them listed as of yet, however the large amount of detailed assembly pictures more than make up for it. i think you owuld assemble the model just on the avaialble illustrations...
i also purchased the optional frame kit from my dealer as well
they appear to have the high quality i have come to expect from them.
i am satisfied that i purchased the frame kit and consider the whole package a 5 scalpel purchas!! :thumb:
