No control with DCC

I recently started to make the shift to DCC for my new layout. I installed my first decorder ( a Digitrax) and initally trying it out on a single section of track hooked up to my NCE power cab. At first is ran very slow, while trying to adjust the CV's it started to run full speed backwards. I have tried changing CV's and even resetting the decoder and the Power Cab with no change, any suggestions as to the problem, I have double checked the wiring and it seems to be hooked up correctly.

It sounds like you might have changed a CV that you did not intend to. See your documentation and reset the decoder to the factory settings and start over. If that doesn't work you might need to contact the decoder tech support for assistance.
