Need help with water

Hi all:
I need some help with water. I have never done water and now I need a small pond with a small creek. I see a lot of products for sale ,but I don't have a clue what one is best for my need.Please let me know what you all use. Also ,how do I color it.? Thanks much for your help.

Water
