I've just discoverd a photo (in an old modeling book I've had since Feb.,FCOL!!) of a beautiful model of a 2-6-6-4 class A
Does anyone know anything about "United model from Pacific Fast Mail" manufactured sometime before 1964 .Are they still in business?
The book is"The Complete Book of MODEL RAILROADING" By David Sutton,c.1964, Castle Books...still in print!
I'd love to find one of these "breathtaking examples" of a Class A.
Appears to be brass, but that is not indicated in the copy. Any help is greatly appreciated.
