Okay I'm sure this will be a real yawner to many of you, but I'm real proud of myself and must share my success.

I was sick of looking at that "bonfire in the cab" on my Athearn F7A so I got out my soldering iron, a couple pieces of wire and a little tape and made a change:

I'm so much happier with the appearance!
Ahhh, it's the little things that make this such a neat hobby.

Pity you did that, it looked good in the dark with the room lights off:D:D KIDDING friend, yes you are right, it was rather a bright light in the cab, glad you sorted it out.

with his tiny little engineer flashlight of course. Has a grain of amoeba bulb in it. (paint and cement not included)
