Hi all, hope thats my latest build is a Dread,
want to upgrade it to venerable.

I scratch some sections, the leg pipes are pins from cotton swabs,
on the back i added some details and other small modifications with
toothpicks.

Here some impressions of construction progress,
some weapon options to build quite complex and delicate.
(for man with big fingers)
you can see, for example image 1 the bood claw parts

The last two images shows the Dread red pre paintet

thank you a lot,

i use the colors of GW or water based acrylic paint.
and i paint directly on the model !
but I use 1mm or thickness cardboard, not paper

I already used clear lacquer,
only to protect it from dust

Seeing pictures of completed dreads does tempt me somewhat

You say you used 1mm thick card, did this cause any additional problems such as folds and shaping ?

Wondering if 0.5mm may work easier (for me at least).

Hi, thanks for your note and request,

I had no problems during assembly,
everything could be shaped and fold well.

It may be that it works equally well with 0.5 mm.
I'm going to try it on occasion
