Moving

Everyone,

I've got good news and bad news.
The good news is that the Wife and I are moving back to Grand Rapids, Minnesota at the end of the month.
The bad news is that the nearest hobby shop is in Duluth, 86 miles away.

But, I HAVE A BASEMENT!!!

Let the layout building begin!!

Congrats. You may not have a train store nearby but there is always the internet. It is much cheaper.

the Dateline special on moving scams and ripoffs last night??
What a nightmare!! They say do your homework
on the moving company before hiring and get a price before
loading.

I'll bet you're gonna have a ball in that basement!!

Wife's brother who is a OTR trucker is going to move us. We just have to pay him for the use of the trailer. It's a 53' so we should be able to get everything into it
The only down side? We have to do the loading and unloading.

Good luck on your move and don't put your back out moving the furniture.
I went through all of that back in September and I still haven't finished unpacking all those boxes.
On the bright side, I too aquired a large basement for my new layout, although I still go into a state of shock every time I see all that space.
