I was looking through my October '06 MRR mag and saw an advertisement for modeltrainbrokers.com. It says prises 30-35% lower than ebay. Anyway I checked it out and did a few quick searches. Nothing came up... at all. Anyone else checked this place out yet?

    Here we go again

Either it doesn't exist or it's a scam. What mag was this? Was it a clasified? Quarter-page?Half-Page?Full? Those are stuff that needs to be known IMO. All I got was one of those crappy websites that change their name when you mispel your true destination:rolleyes:

Nah it exists. It was a half page ad in Model Railroader. Seems legit, just nothing listed for sale or auction there.

I suspect it is a new business start up. I don't think I would want to mail order from him until he is established. I don't mind supporting a local hobby shop that just opened, but to send payment for a product from someone who hasn't even got the web page finished seems to be asking to lose your money.
