Here I am again with another model. This time it will be the St. Peter Basilica.
The model is very big with 114cm long and it have more than 2000 pieces and in the end should the quite impressive.
Let’s see how I handle this model. For now I show to you the pile of paper and card (and I didn’t use all the card) that I will use for the building and the paper base glued to a wooden base.

You are off to a great start, tino,

That is a beautiful board that you have made for the model, with profiled borders. I started something similar on a castle build some time ago.

Keep up the good work!

Yes, this is in my opinion a good way to show and at the same time a good way to build the model.

The size and complexity of the model make the board a useful thing.

For today I bring to you the interior of the model.

That is going to be stunning when it's finished. Looks far better in the flesh than on the box.

Thank you very much Zathros and Carlos! I try to do my best.

A little more of the walls with the cornice (I hope to be the right word) and the advances in the pillars.

At the top of the dome goes the small construction that I bring today.
I also show the base of the dome.
