When you figure it out please do a thread.I love to learn things. Also nice ship.
Oh yeah, I will be doing a thread on that one. It is Answer Models 1/200 Scale IJN Akizuki and one very nice destroyer model.
PaperAir, she came out great!! I had no idea it was such a beefy model. The water line is so deep. Its awesome! A great mangle piece! Job well done!
I don,t like the vertical lines in the hull. But that is how it was designed .It is a Cannon model. The next model after this one will be the Galleon SanSalvador model 3 times larger. That one will be on the mantle. That should make it around 1/33.
Actually, some people make the hulls that way, they cut out the strips and reassemble the hull that way. Doing so with thin paper would work, but the model looks fine.
Did some work on it getting new blades tomorrow.
Man, that is a big model riverboat.
Glad to hear that you are getting a resupply on the blades, I generally hit Michaels or Dick Blicks and snag a 100 count box when my supply gets low. Dick Blicks price is $27.19 as is Michaels, the two Office Supply places, Depot and Max goes the whole retail pop of $33.
Makes me want to go river boating. I would love to travel on something like that, probably would be humming this tune.
Thanks I see if I can get over there to Michaels.I build things bigger because It,s easier for me.It,s getting harder to see the small stuff.
Thats a good one but I think I,d be Humming Rolling rolling, rolling down the river.
Yeah, that's a good tune too!
Will be doing railings and stairs for the model for the next few days. Also humming Rolling, Rolling, Rolling down the river.
Musta got those new blades, watch the digits while you are doing all that slicing and dicing. sign1
Have yet to nick my fingers doing paper models.
The handrails look awesome! those kind of details, are adding up on your boat, taking it right over top!
Thanks everyone I try.
