Not sure if anybody can help or even knows what I am talking about but I lokked at help in windows movie maker and my file is a .MOV (I think, if that is a type of file) file and windows does not have that as a supported file type. is there a way to change the way I save movies on my camera or can I convert a file into the correct format?

Nero will convert those files, if you have it. Rad video tools can do the conversion, but I believe you need an older version of quicktime (if your camera's files can be read with quicktime 4 or 5 that will work, usually you can find an old version of quicktime on some older game cd's) Digital-Digest.com probably has some article that can lead you down the right path.
