I am looking for plans to scratchbuild a log-loading assembly that bares a resemblence to what you would see in a high-elevation logging camp in the early 1900's, or, better yet, a cheap kit that someone has used and likes (or might want to get rid of).
I am looking for something in the way of the boom and cable (or rope) assemblies, or overhead gantries. I don't want to get too technical (as I hate working on small parts), and my craftmanship is not so good (so a kit is probably better).
If you have one in your layout (attn. Shamus) that you have a good picutre of that you could post or email me that would also be great.
