Looking for suggestions on replacing a burned out light on an older P2K BL-2. I could replace the bulb with an identical bulb, (haven't looked yet to see exactly what that is yet), or I could upgrade. Filiment or LED?

Right now I'm running DC, but I will be converting to DCC in the fairly near future. The engine is not decoder equipped yet, but it will be. Does this change what replacement bulb I should put in? If I go LED, what resister if any do I need?

Can anybody shed some light on the subject?[IMG]

    HD...

Take a look at these LEDs that Robin installed in his P2K 0-6-0:

I believe that the requirements for DC and DCC are different, even with a DC "constant lighting" circuit installed. You may want to wait until you get your DCC up and running - it will save you from changing things twice...
