Haven't been wrong yet? Have you noticed many of their releases are set in the 275-300 dollar price range? There are a WHOLE lot of really good locomotives available everywhere for that kind of investment...including brass!!! (ebay)

Life-Like really jacked up their prices when they decided to announce sound equipped locos. the prices on that site are always a little steep. most of the stuff is much cheaper in the US.

but have you seen the Life Like steam? many many times better than brass for a heck of alot less. their 2-8-8-2 is simply awesome.
