One fateful day back in 2002 I ran across the Delta 7 studios website while doing a Google search for Mercury Redstone model. I thought "free? how how can this be, nothing's free." I printed out them pattern, started cutting and gluing, and the rest was history.

While on vacation in Destin, Florida this summer, I thought I would do the same model again, except this time with the escape tower conversion kit and launch pad from Erick Munoz.

This photo was taken at the Camping on the Gulf RV park on the roof of my 07 Monte Carlo. I'll add some more later.

Looks nice! I've always had a soft spot for the Mercury Redstones. :thumb:

I always thought it would be cool to have Ares 1X ( with a new USS of course) in the traffic circle at UAH. Even though it's mostly wishful thinking, the roll control system was built across the street from campus at Teledyne-Brown.
