I think this is correct, am I right?
I am trying to connect two atlas under table switches into 1 atlas switch control box (momentary switch thingy)
(Do I need a certain gauge if I am doing this or am I find with atlas layout wire?)

This should work ok - both turnouts are thrown at the same time. And you don't need any special wires for that. The wires provided with the switch machine will do.

This arrangement will be very practical for a crossover from one track to another parallel track - either both turnouts are set for the straight or the diverging route. If they are set the wrong way, just reverse the red and green (blue) wires on ONE of the turnouts.

I agree with Ron. I have wired crossovers that way, and it works ok.
