    Greetings all,

I just found this Forum, and I liked what I saw! So I figured I'd jump in, say a quick hello to everyone, and go from there! My name is Steve, and I have an N-scale layout ("Hello, Steve"). My layout is a 4x8 layout that I have dubbed the Longmont Central, a fictional shortline in my hometown. The line interchanges with UP, SP, BNSF, and Chessie System (i.e, I have engines from the aforementioned lines). Hmmm, Chessie, in Colorado? Good thing it's fictional. Anyhoo, my primary goal is operations, but running the choo-choo's in a circle with my daughter is just as much fun. I'm working on my scenicking skills, which are rather lacking at this time, but I know I'll get the skills together for that. Heck, I became proficient in soldering after a few weeks of being scared of the soldering iron. Well, I'm glad to be aboard!
