    N scale ones at that.
Now that I've found my western town, I need a few cowboys to go in it.
Or at least some old timey looking people.
    Not having much luck.

Old timey people are difficult in HO, I can't imagine what is available in N scale.

You can always try modifying other figures to fit your era, through paint, addition of hats, etc. Working in N scale could be tough, though.

Cannonball , I made my cow pokes from woman riders , Woodland Scenics N Scale Horseback Riders.
It is not easy but here are the results.
What I have asked for are American Indians , which were a big part of travel through the southwest in the 50's and 60's.

    Cowboys

We have some cowboys on our club layout.
They even come with lassoes. I'm not sure but I think they from either Walthers or Merten.
