...A couple of photos of my layout growing to life
Nice pics. Keep 'em coming, or if you got a site with details on the layout. Always enjoy viewing other layouts for inspiration
Mine is still 'on the drawing board' but construction begins after thanksgiving.
Hmmm......I see the cover for January issue.
Nice! Great work with the foliage!
Very nice, great looking trees and ground cover!
It's always difficult to scenic on a narrow shelf - you are doing a great job!
I agree, the trees look great! Can you tell us how you made them?
Very very nice.

Thought I saw deer tracks in the first shot.
I'd say the life is growing.
That really looks great! :thumb:
So glad you shared, I like it to. Well done.
Looks Great :thumb:
Hey - That's outstanding. :thumb: More, please.
The trees are Fine-Leaf Foliage from Woodland Scenics.
It's quite expensive, but my layout is so small so I thought that I could afford it.
Hers what I do, I sort out the peices that look like trees from the foliage and then I take small peices of a bbq-stick. Then I take the tree and the stick and tie it together with some metal wire. After that I drill a hole in the layout and plant the tree with some ordinary white glue. Afterwards you would like to paint the bbq-stick so you dont see the bright wood. I tried painting the bbq-stick before, but the paint only flows of and gets quite messy so I prefer doing it when the tree is planted.
Here are some pics of my trees, I will take better and sharper photographs for you guys as soon as I have something to really show.
Great looking trees, very nice indeed! The whole thing looks great.
Very good. :thumb: Specially the last one of the freight sheds. **applause icon**
