How do I post in the Oct Photo Contest

Thanks for your help, Tyson. I guess it is obvious that I did not not know the procedure. I first clicked on the announcement thread but found that I couldn't add a reply there so I just started a new thread. Daring and resourceful!
Now I wonder why my IMG tags don't work here? Is it because the image is oversize? I still don't have the trick.

I'm not sure, but seem to remember that if one posts a link before an image tag the software becomes confused sometimes and posts it as a link like it did for you. Fred
