Norscot I think, get em from Walmart:thumb: , $5.99
I recently picked one of the scrapers up too, I gotta agree, never realized that it was so BIG!
yep Norscot makes em. WallyWorld has em. $5.99 ea. and they are BIG HO scale vehicles.. I can see one of these all weatherd up real nasty like with mud and rust and raw steel a shinein in the sun light. AARRHH! AARRHH! AARRHH! ...Yeah :thumb:
Wal Mart sell a variety of them, the scraper, dozer, loader, backhoe, scraper and articulated sprayer.
I think that they run between 3.87 for the smaller stuff to the 5.99 mentioned.
Cant beat that huh. Thanks again. Yea Wally's LOL
Just wondering, does it have to be real cars? I ask because I have the 5 Final Run Cars from 2005 and I'd like to show them, they're pretty cool, even if I would rather DIE sooner than open up their cassessign1
Just had to put these pics here
here are some pics of some new HO vehicles I got yesterday.
First one up is the new Mini Metals 59 Ford Fairlane.Don't know where they got the Fairlane name from because this ain't one. but it is a 59 Ford and a very nice one to boot.(At $12.00 a copy it should be)I still like it and have the N scale version on order too.
Next one up is a Johnny Lightening 1999 IHC straight truck. It is very nice IMHO and even has a hydralic lift gate modeled but non working.JL needs to do more of these trucks
Both of these beauties have nicely detailed under carridges and the truck is assembled with screws.I bought two of the trucks and am thinking of making the second one a flatbed.(the trucks are only $4.00 each )
Something I found at walmart. I repainted 1 and will do the rest soon.
What are those?
It was something walmart had for easter. Small toys to put in baskets? They are just alittle bigger then ho scale but will work for me.
I love it. Do you remember Micro Machines? I used the motorcyles. They arent perfect but they sure work!
I was looking For MM cycles but couldn't find any.
I painted them
They look good. Nice find!
chessie4155, those road scenes look great. how do you do your roads and sidewalks?
The scene with the semis and cars on a four lane road? That is just a piece of old paneling I cut down and painted. Nothing really fancy..I use the KISS method..:thumb:
Since my layout will be building a new building we needed a new crane to reach the distances and to lift the loads the building is going to require. So, before we could build the building the crane had to be built. Here are some of the pictures of the crane being assembled. It was very exciting!!
Oh... here is the building that it will be used for.
WOW, that was some cool pics of that crane being built!! That should be a cool scene building the Glacier Garavel Company with some cranes!!
I have found some really good vehicles at wally world lately. Actually 1:87. Cars for $2 and semi tractors for $4. Hey trucklover, did you drive at one point in time? Just curious cause I spent about 6 mos. otr before I called it quits. Liked driving but hated every other part of the job
