As I was watching a special on mega-machines tonight, the History Channel announced a program called "Extreme Trains" that is to run on Tuesday the 11th here in Colorado. I'm posting this in case anyone is interested.

I apologize for the lack of any other information; however, the teaser showed a couple of very brief clips but gave no specifics or other information at all.

According to my Dish Network schedule, this looks like a weekly series. Also this week are several other train series, "Voyages" has two, one on Circus trains, and one on war trains. "Modern Marvels" also has one on Bullet trains. They are running the same episodes several times during the week.

There's also a weekly show on RFD Channel 379 (that's what it is on DirecTV) called Trains and Locomotives. It's on every Monday evening at 6 pm. It's basically the train videos that you can buy in the stores or online but it's still pretty neat.
