Yeah - the comic took a turn for the worse a few weeks ago... they lost their apartment in a fire, now they "found" a house on a large lot.

Really a great comic to read daily.. I always enjoy it!!!!

I tried like crazy to find a house with a decent basement when we were looking. Unfortunately, the house we bought had the best upstairs living spaces but one of the worst basements. It looks like a dungeon.

I live in New Mexico where we have no ground water problems and we have no homes with basements! Go Figure!!!
