Help with lift-out joints

I have made a lift-out as per Shamus post on the subject.
How do you hide the joint between the lift-out and the attached
scenery.
I know you can put loose ground foam on the joint and redo everytime you remove the lift-out. I was hoping to try to do something more permanent.
The lift-out is in the middle of a forest.

Hi Marty,
Here's a photo of the liftout section, the part that lifts out has extended foliage over it so it hides the join. The foliage used is Woodland scenics foliage, the stuff that you tease out.

Yeh Andy, thats my 6'-4" tall Son David under there lifting it for me. He stated that it wasn't as heavy as the bench press he just did.
