Hello everyone. Just found this site to-day and I'm just starting to claw and scratch my way around. I notice there are model railroad enthusiasts as well as aviation buffs. Looks like I just might be kept busy for a while.

I would like to share with you my favourite photo which I took while riding the back seat of a harvard* taking off at the Windsor Airport.

*Harvard - Canadian version of the American "SNJ" or "Texan"

My father tells the story of being in the hanger when this enormous noise went over.
    "What was that?"
"Either a Harvard or sixteen spitfires."

Welcome. I can handle airplanes as well as trains. Of course, I've worked on the darn things for 40 years, so I've got a vested interest in avaition. Yes, those Harvard/ SNJ/AT6's are definitely noisey.

I do have a video I took of a model railroad exhibit in Essex Ont several years ago. However, its size is 1.12 Mbps and I don't know how to make it available for all to see. Any suggestions?
