I just discovered this forum a few days ago.

Or, to be truthful, I just rediscovered this forum a few days ago when I found the link buried in a favorites subfolder.

It seems I joined back in 2006 and had made 2 posts and then nothing.

So I'm new to the forum but not new.

Anyways, my main paper model interest is converting card stock rockets into flying models but I do build static models on occasion, mainly aircraft.

Thank you for the welcome back. I've been a little stagnant lately as my model building area is in an unheated basement.

But I can build a simple card model or two on the kitchen table from time to time.

This is typical of what I've been doing the last few years.

This is the 1/48 Soyuz launcher that I got from Lower Hudson Valley Gift Shop

This is a flying model so I added a motor mount to the center.

The last picture is it beside a smaller Soyuz that I built several years earlier.

    Here is launch day.

Here I am loading it on the launch pad.
Liftoff on an Estes D12-3 engine.
    Climbing into the sky.

Last a liftoff on an Aerotech E18-4W later in the year.
