Great pictures Chris. I could almost hear the clickity clack on the tracks. Gee, I sure miss that sound as there are no tracks within 20 miles of where I live. The only sound we hear out here is the sound of a police or ambulance siren making a run to the indian casino.

Hi Andrew, if you are in the area I`ll show ya:D
It`s called Cherry wood that`s the area. north of the 401,
and west of Liverpool road if you find Old Finch rd on the map its just north on Dixie rd.
I think it`s the end of the Havlock tracks as it comes into T O :)

I thought that nothing larger than an old GP9 was allowed to go on the Havelock sub? That looks like a fast through-freight and the CP mainline!

I saw a bit of the Havelock sub this past weekend from Havelock, Norwood, Peterborough, and along Hwy 7 from Lindsay area down to Markham road. Now quit teasing, Chris, where have you been hiding that location!

Felt like I was there. Reminds me of a photo caption in Erie Power. "Wham! and sticks, stones, paper, almost the photographer's camera go flying!".
