One of the reasons I left South Africa was because of its awful apartite laws. If you spoke out you could be banned from ever meeting more than three people at any given time and also travel restrictions. Here in Canada everyone is treated equally and I admire people like Martin Luther King who did so much to make life better for so many folks.
Mathyro: Just out of curiosity, where and when were you in South Africa? I led a Rotary Group Study Exchange Team there, back in 1987, primarily in the Durban area. Enjoyed my stay very much; but certainly abhorred the apartheid.
