Best wishes for a happy birthday - lots of railroady things your way, lots of time to spend with our hobby, and lots of everything you wish...

For Swissjohn (and the others) a Swiss train (prototype of the ICN with tilting cab):
Wish you all a clear track ahead!

A great big thank-you to Ron and Chris. The pics really cheered me up after spending the two days before my birthday in hospital. .........A fall from a ladder while painting the house has left me with cuts bruises and a really sore head.
    Thanks again,
    John.

    John,

Congratulations one more time for getting away with no major damage from your accident. Oh well, two days in hospital is bad enough. :(
Hope you're allright again by now.

See, that's exactly why I confine myself to paint MODEL houses. At least you can't drop down from the house, instead you can drop down the whole house - and then with the wet paint on your trousers (I know!!! ) Just another application of Murphy's Laws.:D :D :D
