I'm trying to build round handing signs for over the doorways of my A&P warehouse (see http://www.the-gauge.com/showthread.php?t=12926) in N scale.

I have the signs themselves. The problem is....how do I construct the sign supports? What's the best material to use to get the basic shape I'm looking for? I've tried thin styrene rods, but they're pretty flimsy. I was thinking brass. Any ideas?

Just to clarify, the round sign itself is about 4 - 4.5 N scale feet.

 Hi Frank, I like to use a stiff wire or brass for signs like that. Use the right scale wire and drill to drill holes into the building and acc from the inside. If you are careful you can bend it into one peice to do the job and they are quite strong. :eek:ops: Jim
