Thanks to Rich for the reply to my Lionel Diesel horn question. However, it's not immediately obvious to a mechanically-challenged person like me how to remove the "A" unit superstructure in order to check for a broken or unsoldered wire on the horn. How in blazes do you take the thing apart?
