Last year at a train show I saw an idea on a module edge that looked real good. They eliminated the abrupt sharp corner of the module by sloping and lowering the border down to the edge. With the scenery; streams, culverts, rock outcroppings, and roads below the railbed and it gave you the impression on looking up. It works out great for taking pictures since the edge could be out of view. It was too late to apply this to my layout but I did attempt to do this in my new show modules. I think it gives the modulel better depth.
