well done chris!!!

thats a very smart locomotive, shame we dont get any stores like that over here that have anything resonably priced - over here its stupidly expensive!

That's Just TOO Cool!

Now that is some sort of a FIND, Chris! Nice to know that it's going to a home where it'll be loved and pampered. :thumb:

By the way, I dare you to put a picnic table, barbeque and LPS enjoying same on one of those porches!

Chris: NO NO NO I told you "a bundle of Marklin catenary for $10.00"

Well, you may be able to take the cab off and make a sort of L&PS loco from it, and then you'll have 2 trucks left over.

Are you keeping the poles?

Congrats Chris - what a beauty!!! If you'd like to airbrush it, let me know and we can get together - I have all the supplies we'll need, like liquid mask for the windows, and weathering chalks if you want to do that. :) :)

Chris: I've got some boxes of Bowser overhead and enough wire to do something. I don't have a spot for it yet. I was planning 3rd rail for St Mary Ax station. (Now we're well off topic!)
I like the green paint job -- can you do it with the red showing through?

Glad to here you have planes for future traction David :thumb:

I will take the red paint off and bring her down to brass and prim it properly.
Then see what Val can do re green , as I like it to.
