Hi Guys,
There is a great product on the market in the USA to make items of railroading rusty overnight. the website is

I have this product at home and can state that it is fantastic, paint on the grey primer first and leave for 1 hour, (Tells you to give two coats of the grey, but found 1 coat okay) then paint on the slight bluish colour. Leave until the next day, and POOOFF,
rusty item of interest.
